"Do you own Sundrop?"
Sundrop is owned by Keurig-Dr. Pepper. We make Sundrop under our franchise license.
"Does Twig's Sour have Grapefruit in it?"
No. It is a lemon based mixer soda. Similar to that of a more bitter lemonade.
"Twig's soda is caffeine free, is Sundrop?"
No. Here are the caffeine measurements for Sundrop: 68mg /12fl Oz. This amount is found both in the reg Sundrop and Diet Sundrop. Our Twig's Flavors however, are completely caffeine free!
"I have old Sundrop bottles/relics, does Twig's want them?"
Our owners may have interest in your item, or could offer information about the relic if you wish. Simply stop in with your item or send us an email with an image and your information so we may contact you.
"Can you ship?/Can I buy online?"
Although we don't have an online store, we can ship any Twig's products at the shipping cost of the customer. Unfortunately, we are unable to ship Sundrop products outside of our territory.
"How long have you been making Sundrop?"
Our growing popularity sparked interest for the first citrus soda of the 1950s - Sundrop. The creator Charles Lazier, needed a place to produce and distribute his new "Golden Cola." Floyd agreed to Charles' request and became one bottler amongst several in Wisconsin that made this delicious soft drink.
"What makes Twig's Sundrop special?"
Real sugar, real pulp, Shawano water!
"When can we watch live bottling?"
During the winter you can watch Live Bottling Monday-Thursday 10am-5pm
In the summer, Live bottling is Tuesday-Friday and select Saturdays
"What's the difference between Returnable and Non-Returnable Sundrop?"
RETURNABLES - using a specially designed glass with an etched logo that can withstand the re- washing and refilling process, this product has been our staple since we opened. Using the old fashioned soda recipes with real sugar, we have been bottling returnable soda for our loyal fans. They visit us to purchase a case - called a deposit - which they return to us when empty and pay for a new refill. *Since August of 2021 we can only refill empties. Due to a glass shortage we cannot allow NEW cases / deposits to be purchased.
NON RETURNABLES - using a cheaper glass option, similar to that of beer bottles, We are able to put our old fashioned soda into a glass bottle that customers do not have return to us, and therefore can be purchased and enjoyed all over the country. Simply put the bottle into the recycling and eventually it will be made into brand new glass! We have lots of fun flavors! Find your favorites during a visit with us!
